Hi,
Me and my husband are in the very early stages of considering a move to HK in August/September 2020. He will be qualifying as a teacher so will be able to get onto a international schooling programme.
I am a registered paramedic in the UK and am struggling to see what options would be available to me without speaking Chinese. I have seen there are some private health care clinics but am unsure whether they would be Western led.
If anyone has any further information as to what other options may be available i.e. walk in centers/ private clinics then please let me know.

There are a lot of UK doctors in HK with their own practice.
If you cannot work at their offices, they may be able to direct you to others.

I have read on a Reddit forum discussing expat paramedics in Hong Kong that they work predominantly on a Western model, so it shouldn't be too challenging to integrate. The comments mentioned being able to secure ride-alongs in spite of poor Cantonese. There are several relocation companies that may be able to offer assistance if you are struggling to see what options are available in English. There is also the option to contact one of the dozen private hospitals with international accreditation, such as Canossa Hospital directly.
