Hello all,
I am Japanese and have been living in the UK for 25 years and am a British national now. We are planning to divorce soon. After the divorce, I am thinking of moving to Italy, if possible.
Can someone give me advice on moving to Italy without using my husbands help? Can I move to Italy on my own? And can I legally work in Italy?

You definitely can move to Italy on your own although the process may seem confusing. The visa application process is similar to other countries around the European Union. You mention working in Italy, would you like to find employment there or start your own business? The process may seem confusing but I'd suggest you read Visas for Italy and Work Permits for Italy.
