I am from Bangladesh, and I would like to move to Kazakhstan. How do I get a work permit, and how should I communicate with companies in Kazakhstan?

Hi Nurshipon,

To gain a work permit, an employer must apply for it on behalf of the foreign worker. It is recommended that you should contact an employer before attempting to move to Kazakhstan for employment. After the work permit has been granted, then a work visa will be issued, which usually allows an expat a stay of one year, which can be renewed.

Online job boards are a good place to start the search, but you should try to contact companies directly if you can. There are a number of international companies that have offices in Kazakhstan, you should see if there are any companies related to your field of work that may have a job board.

Our page on work permits in Kazakhstan may be able to answer any further questions you have.

What industry do you wish to work in?

Hope this helps!
