We would like to move to Estonia to start an environmentally friendly camp site. How complicated are the rules for being self employed out there?

Hi floss,

Although Estonia is not yet a popular expat destination, the country presents some good entrepreneurial opportunities.

Where will you be moving from?

EU nationals are able to work in Estonia without a work permit, but need to obtain a residency permit within 30 days of arrival in the country.

I heard estonians saying that it is very difficult to start a business in Estonia. But that was some years ago. Please consider the climate.:-)
