Hi there

Considering teaching in Sao Paulo for a while and will probably be situated close to the city centre. I heard the traffic there is a bit of a nightmare, so I'm not even gonna bother with a car. I know the city has a metro system- how is it?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Geoff

The city has an efficient metro but it is concentrated in the city centre and is often overcrowded. Have a look at our Getting Around Sao Paulo guide for more info.

Best of luck!
