Hi, we are moving to Indonesia in June with our two kids, aged 10 and 12, and we're looking for an international school in Jakarta. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good school, preferably one that offers the British curriculum....

Hi Kate, Jakarta is a popular expat destination and as such there are many international schools in the city. The British International School in Jakarta offers the British curriculum. There are also a number of good international schools in Jakarta offering the IB programme. For a list of schools in the city, see International Schools in Jakarta. If you'd like to learn more about the schooling system in Indonesia in general, have a read of our Education and Schools in Jakarta page.

Good luck with your school search! It's best to plan as early as possible, as space at the good schools is often limited, and there may be waiting lists.
