What's a good mid to high-class area for a young couple with an eight-year-old. Need to be fairly central, but would compromise proximity to the CBD for a little green-space and some good neighbours...

There's plenty of great areas and suburbs in Santiago for a young family, but if you favour green space and don't mind being a bit outside the city centre I can recommend Providencia. It's central, but clean and has lots of space to take the kids for a bike ride or a walk. Salvador and Manual Montt are the better residential areas. Though, they can still be kind of busy.
